Topia CEO Brynne Kennedy Named 2018 CloudNOW Top Woman in Cloud Innovation

SAN FRANCISCO (December 11, 2018)— Global Mobility Management (GMM) company Topia today announced its CEO and founder Brynne Kennedy has been named one of CloudNOW’s 2018 Top Women Entrepreneurs in Cloud Innovation. The awards, sponsored by Facebook, Intel and Google, recognize the outstanding achievements of women founders who are breaking new ground in cloud and emerging technologies.

“I’m extremely honored to be recognized among this elite group of women who are truly setting an outstanding example for the next generation of female technology leaders,” Kennedy said. “Together, we’re demonstrating that gender barriers are being shattered every day and with the right approach, a strong vision and dedication, there’s nothing standing in your way.”

Kennedy, who founded Topia (formerly MOVE Guides) as the world’s first talent mobility, cloud-based solution to help companies efficiently manage worldwide employee relocation, has since led the company through two strategic acquisitions and raised over $90M in capital.

Under her visionary leadership, Topia has defined the current state of GMM, powering the strategic mobility programs for over 100 global entities such as Dell, AXA, Schneider Electric and Equinor with its end-to-end technology suite that not only optimizes mobility management for organizations, but also ensures a seamless, satisfying employee experience. In the past year alone, the company’s industry leading cloud-based platform has also been recognized with Red Herring’s Top 100 North America award.

“This year’s awards mark a significant shift in the industry with the proliferation of women entrepreneurs who are stepping up and leading venture-funded technology companies,” said Jocelyn DeGance Graham, founder of CloudNOW. “We applaud the achievements of our winners, and thank them for blazing trails for diversity, inclusion and entrepreneurship.”

Kennedy will officially accept the CloudNOW award at a ceremony on January 29th at Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park. The 7th annual awards are presented by CloudNOW, the executive consortium for leading women in cloud and converging technologies, in partnership with Office of the Cloud, a nonprofit cloud leadership initiative sponsored by Kaizen Technologies, and TechStars, the worldwide network that helps entrepreneurs succeed.
