Today the Syndicate Room released their 2018 report on Britain’s Fastest-Growing Business. In this Top 100 report we’re thrilled to see Topia listed in the 26th position.

While Topia was founded in 2012 in London, 2018 has been a one of the most significant years since our founding. This year we acquired Polaris Global Mobility and rebranded the combined company of MOVE Guides and Polaris to Topia. We also launched our new product suite including support for deferred compensation in Topia Plan.

The Syndicate Room report highlights the fact that UK startups and SMEs may face new difficulties in raising funds and fueling growth with the pending Brexit. Many UK companies receive funding from the European Investment Bank, has invested more than €117bn into British SMEs. The problem - EIB only invests into European ventures. If the UK goes through with Brexit it would cut off that significant funding source. (Fortunately this is not a concern for Topia with offices in the US, UK, EU and APAC, as well as funding from both sides of the pond).

Another item of note from the report is that nearly three-quarters of the Top 100 companies are technology businesses, with focusses ranging from geolocation to revolutionary femtech. To see the full list download your free copy of the report here.
