MOVE Guides celebrates key milestones with Series B funding and new leadership appointments

I am very pleased to announce the completion of MOVE Guides' $15.6 million Series B funding round led by our investors, New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and Notion Capital. We are also excited to have veteran technology executive Jim Drill joining MOVE Guides this month as our first President, based in San Francisco. This year, we also welcomed our first CFO, Roger Hand in London.
I feel those are significant milestones, not only for MOVE Guides, but also for the talent mobility industry. As many of you know, mobility is at a true tipping point—a point where our industry's ability to innovate will be critical to meeting business objectives and fostering global economic growth in the years to come. Being able to deploy talent across borders in a simple and easy way is no longer an option, but a necessity for competing in the 21st century.
According to a recent survey by MOVE Guides and the RES Forum, just 18% of companies feel they have programs that meet their expectations. According to EY, 70% of companies are undertaking mobility program reviews, actively seeking new options. And going forward, PwC says that 89% of companies will move more people in the next 3-5 years than they ever have before. This is a critical time for global mobility.
With this new capital, you have the on going commitment of our team and investors to continue to develop the solutions to transform global mobility together. We will continue our global expansion growing our team in San Francisco, and launch new products to improve the employee experience and help companies estimate, manage and optimize costs.
Last but not least, thank you to all that have supported MOVE Guides along this incredible journey. Some of you have been lighthouse customers through the years. Some of you have entrusted us to care for your employees through tiring and emotional moves. Some of you have provided invaluable feedback and challenged our thinking. All of you have made us better.
